I want to help you…

Gain Cultural Awareness
Culture is a living concept that includes many variables, with one arm reaching back to the past while the other arm is shaped in the present. The dynamics of the cultures from which societies emerge can at times be similar or completely different depending on geographical location, racial and ethnic unity and historical background. Together, while learning about Turkish culture in all its aspects, we will also look at your own culture from the outside and enjoy the beauty of cultural diversity together.

Practice the Language
Adopting a new culture other than your own is only possible if you accept this new culture into your life. The most important part of integrating a culture is to learn the language of that culture and make it a part of your daily life. In order to achieve this, you will be able to attend practical classes where you will learn the Turkish language, and on the other hand, you will be able to participate in culture days and cultural tours where you will be immersed in the Turkish culture and find yourself in the middle of the routine Turkish life, where you can improve your language skills. In this way, you will be able to observe Turkish culture in its purest and most natural form and continue to make new discoveries with every activity.

Get Over Culture Shock
As members of different societies, when we live in a society that is “foreign” to us, we need to learn the most appropriate ways of communicating with local people in that society.
And sometimes the behavior, reactions and lifestyle of a person from a “foreign” society may seem “unusual” to us. While furthering your relationship with local people, we will walk with you and help you make sense of Turkish values, ways of thinking and customs, and give you tips that will be useful in practical life.

Prepare your team
Culture coaching is as useful for churches and organizations as it is for individuals. There are not enough resources published on Turkish culture and life in Turkey from a believer’s perspective. In addition, most organizations and communities give their workers a general briefing about the “Middle East” and send them to serve overseas. Unfortunately, this type of orientation is not enlightening enough about the unique culture and characteristics of each of the countries in this geography, nor is it very useful for the workers in practical ways. You can contact me to better understand the religious and cultural dynamics in Turkey and prepare your members in a comprehensive way.
What former students are saying…
“Seray is great at grading her language to your current level of understanding while still sprinkling in new vocabulary as she speaks. She knows quite a bit of English which is incredibly helpful in the early stages of language learning. She can relate grammar concepts to English or tell you when there’s nothing like it in English.
She’s also a great person to learn Turkish culture from because she is able to point out subtle but important differences between Turkish culture and American culture.”

“When I moved to Antalya, I knew almost nothing about Turks and the Turkish language. A few weeks after I moved, I started working with Seray as a language tutor. My language learning journey was going well, but I was struggling to make sense of the cultural values of this new country and the way local people do things. Seray helped me a lot to understand the what, why, how questions about Turkish culture. I highly recommend working with her.”

“Seray is easily the best grammar teacher I’ve ever had! Her knowledge of both English and Turkish was extremely helpful whenever she taught me new grammar concepts. She is very patient and friendly, and is the ideal kind of teacher for learning a hard language like Turkish!”
